Dr Mary Satti, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Satti's for several years. For general issues she was fine however when I brought up long standing mental health concerns to her she refused to address them and dismissed them as seasonal despite it being summer at the time. I would not recommend her services to anyone wanting to address or maintain mental health services.

Dr Satti sat down with me and went over all my records adding anything new into the computer. She was very thorough, listened to everything I had to say, and I didn’t feel rushed at all. I have left other offices feeling like I wasn’t heard or my questions weren’t answered, but here I left feeling like I had a great appointment! I would highly recommend her. She is popular so I book my physical ahead of time.

I would not recommend Dr Satti. Clearly she had not read my record I would not recommend Dr Satti. She misdiagnosed my issues. She clearly had not read my medical records from my previous Doctor nor reviewed tests results prior to my visit with her. She did not believe what I told her and ordered an unnecessary test. Which in the end proved her wrong. You have to be your own advocate. She definitely was not the right doctor for me.

By every measure, Dr. Satti is the best physician I've encountered in my 60+ years. Many of my friends and acquaintances also go to her practice, Primary Care for Women in Old Lyme, Conn., and thoroughly agree with my assessment.

15 years ago this was a premier practice of excellence in every facet of care, but in the past 5 years has declined considerably in the quality of care and they deliver. More concerned about reimbursement rates than serving the needs of their patients. A revolving door of staff combined with impersonal care makes me inclined to take my care elsewhere.

Very professional and aware of new tests.Very difficult to get an appointment if not scheduled long in advance.

I would not recommend this practice - get a personal physician - too many patients, not enough personal care.I had 2 serious procedures done and ended up having to go elsewhere for better care.
