Dr. Patricia A Dubose, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. DuBose since 1991. She is worth the wait. I probably wouldn't have my right leg if it wasn't for Dr. DuBose. And her late visits at 2:00 & 3:00 in the morning, saved my life once; because I had gone into kidney failure. She is such a caring doctor with a great bedside manner. I really respect her as a doctor and she calls in very respected and knowledgeable consults. I swear by Dr. DuBose, she is a awesome doctor. I hope she never retires.

Very capable and knowledgable, really cares about patients, there when you need her. Unfortunately FORMER office receptionist was a disaster - rude and didn't do her job. But that doesn't reflect on the doctor's skills. She's saved my husband when he was very ill and seen him through multiple difficult situations. Called in good consultants.

very knowledgable and caring. takes time to explain. you may have to wait a bit but well worth it. problematic former office employee now gone.

Is always HORRIBLY LATE for appointments. Has no office staff; files and other papers strewn everywhere in office. On balance, great bedside manner, friendly. But on my last visit was falling asleep in front of me, did not order new blood work as she said we would, and never sent my prescription refill forms to the mail-order pharmacy I use. I've found a new doctor.

This doctor misses appointments on a regular basis. Normal waiting time for her is over 3+ hours. She doesn't return phone calls now that she no longer has any staff. Her office has little to few medical supplies in it. She often wakes the patient at 4 in the AM to do her rounds (I thought sick people in hospital need their rest?). Though she is very knowledgable I would say she is a poor doctor due to her unreliability for showing up to appointments, keeping a staff or an answering service. I would not only NEVER recommend her as a doctor, but I myself have switch from her service.
