Dr. Mary K DeHerrera, MD

She's a nice doctor who listens when you're seen however, getting an apointment is difficult. I'm researching a change due to unavailability. I'm being told the doctor is studying for her boards and unavailable for an apointment or feedback on adjustments/review of my 3 week + concern over high and low sugars. When you need your doctor most, this one is unavailable for guidance. If you're doing well and need no change or contact, she's fine. That's not what is patients require with diabetes management. For the sake of my health and concern for yours, move on. She's lost sight of her patients trust and guidance.

I contacted the office to see if a certain date was available to me. I contacted the office 4 times in one day. The first call - was put on hold for 6 minutes and the staff did not return to the phone call. Two minutes later - receive office voicemail. In the afternoon at 2:38 p.m.. was put on hold for the same as the morning. eventually the phone was picked up, heard voices and then was disconnected. The fourth phone call- one of the staff answered and was rude when I informed her it was unacceptable regarding my experience. She did not care of about the patient (me) when I informed her of how she treats callers on the phone, then disconnected the phone. Office staff needs customer service training and business etiquette.
