Dr. Mary Jo Ford, MD

I saw DR Ford and treated with her when she had an office in Beverly Hills, I had a very large workers comp case and I felt from the time I met her she was very devoted to me at the time, and making me "comfortable" while I was on workers comp, with an deep pockets and endless supply of money for her care but the minute my case was settled it was like "oh well" see ya?? She also did not do coverage on the weekends and if you did call her you were made to feel like you were bothering her, that is if you got a call back"! She would spend hardly any time talking on the phone to you because it was a "weekend". For me it was very nerve racking because I had an implanted device that could be problematic at times and had to potential to be very lethal and needed to have her reassurance I was going to be okay which never happened. Unless she has changed her way of doing things I feel unless you have "deep pockets" you weren't really given good care.....sad but true.

My case is workers comp related. I have seen several doctors, including one from Kerlan & Jobe (it took longer to ride the elevator to the second floor than to have my visit with him!) so I did not have high hopes for Dr. Ford either. BOY was I surprised! Dr. Ford even offered to turn up the heat in the exam room thinking I might be cold. The thoroughness with which she handled my case was/is fantastic. It has taken almost five months to get fair and honest treatment on my back. I highly recommend Dr. Ford.
