Dr. Mary Carmen Hernandez-Zhang, MD

Very personable and thorough

I never review doctors but Dr. Hernandez-Zhang definitely deserves it. I am new to the Houston area and it is SO hard to find a primary care doctor that fits what you're looking for. I am beyond happy with her, she takes her time to explain everything to you, and makes you feel welcome. My grandfather and I both see her as our primary physician and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Best Doctor ever...After being hospitalized for a week and hospital not knowing why my blood was so low, they thought I was hemorrhaging but couldn't find a thing. They told me to see my physician and Dr Hernandez found out in one week after lab tests that I needed to see an oncologist and OMG they found cancer....She saved my life. Love her dearly.

I was needing to establish with a primary care provider with Houston Methodist and I chose Dr. Hernandez. My visit with her could not have gone any better. She's a wonderful patient advocate and explains things in great detail so the patient understands their illness. Very knowledgeable about her treatment with you and easy to converse with. I recommend Dr. Hernandez to anyone.

Dr. Hernandez was just wonderful. She is poliet, respectful, and went out of her way to make me feel very comfortable. I love the fact that she took the time to sit and talk with me. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for great bedside manner. And for those of you who want to know where she is currently practicing, she is in Leauge City now.

Dr. Hernandez was by the far the best doctor I have ever seen. I even referred seven different people to see her! They all loved her as equally as I did. I have been searching for where she went, but I cannot find her! I would definately see her anywhere she went.

Dr Hernandez was awesome and I'm glad she is away from UTMB the only reason I stayed at Utmb as long as I did was her. Utmb is awe flu and customer service is horrible and billing dept needs to go back to grade school to learn math. U wish I knew where she is now. I wish her the very best!

I was also a patient of hers, and was so disappointed to find out she left UTMB. I would really like to know where she is now! I also know another patient of hers to be in search of her. Maybe we will locate her soon.

I have seen many dr's over 7 yrs and this lady pushed to find out my true DX! She is very loving natured and truly cares for her patients. She is no longer at UTMB ;( Need to find where she is!
