Dr. Mary Lynn Hogan, MD

Not a good doctor for following up, I had to have a EKG before getting a stress test, I did, then waited for feed back to schedule the stress test, never got it. I went back to the doctors, told the NP I still needed the stress test, she said she would inform the Dr. Hogan, notheing happend. Later I again told a NP, I needed by stress test, she said I would have to take a EKG again. I told fine but I wasn't paying for it. She said they weren't going to pay for it. I got the stress test without another EKG. Later I had a knee injury, and had other issues, I was prescribed some meds from a NP, later my heart was racing, and my eyes were sensitive and blinking constantly. The NP nor Dr. Hogan knew what the problem was. She sent me to an Eye specialist, he didn't see anything. But the Physical Therapist I was going to knew right away it was the meds I was taking. I could go on and on....... (I still have eye and knee problems.)

I had a schedule appointment today at 2:15. When I arrived I was informed she was at the hospital performing a C-section. They did not take the time or have the courtesy to even give me a call. After waiting a month for a appointment and driving 45 minutes and wasting my time and gas I was unable to see the doctor. There is no excuse for this and that is very unprofessional. I am now researching a new doctor someone that actually cares and would take the time to call if unable to keep the appointment. I am seriously considering sending a bill to her for compensation of my time. Your time is not any more important or valuable than my time.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hogan for at least 7 years and thought she was a great doctor until I developed osteoarthritis that severely pinched my sciatic nerve. At the point I developed this extremely painful condition, Dr. Hogan as repeatedly failed me. First she is very reluctant to prescribe pain medication, due to there being this national Opioid crisis. Well let me tell you doc, I am having a painful crises right here and now and I can't believe that my needless suffering in anyway helps this national problem. Also, referring me to physical therapy when I can barely walk and no medication was foolish. I could not even tolerate the pool therapy and my lead therapist cancelled the remaining sessions because it was obvious that was doing more harm than good. So thanks for that little $800+ pay out for nothing but extra pain. So bottom line here, if you have high blood pressure, or just want a doctor to run tests on you every year, Dr Hogan is just fine, but if you are in… serious pain, Dr Hogan won't be of much help, and may actually increase your pain by sending you off to physical therapy for no good reason.

My family has been with Dr Hogan since the beginning in 06 she has brought 2 beautiful children into this world. I recommend Dr Hogan to family and friends.When we visit the doctors office it is almost like visiting a family member.

Mary Hogan has been my primary care physician for 5 years. I love her down to earth approach and the time she takes to listen. She is also quite intuitive and knows what questions to ask to figure out the problem. I highly recommend her!
