Dr. Mary Angela Madden, MD

Waited in the office for almost 3 hours, nobody follows up on anything...I have called 4 times for a follow up appointment that was supposed to happen 6 weeks ago. Phone is always on voice mail or you get left on hold forever. I cant seem to get anywhere with this Dr. office. Went in for a specific problem and they are trying to get every test to mankind EXCEPT what I need done.

She moved closer to my home thinking that my usual two hour wait would be reduced. Silly me. It increased to 2 1/2 hours, While she is less than a mile away, her lack of meaningful appointments, leave me with the option of driving to Miami and back in the time it gets to see her. Why? The tension conveys to Brian and Amar, who have to placate irate patients. An unnecessary tension miasma that you needn't enter.

She and her staff are the best in the state of Florida !!!!!!

Her video shows an average wait time of 52 minutes in 2012. That needs updating to show current wait time of over two hours -last visit was 2 1/2 hours. She is pleasant enough, but she is so consistently overbooked, the aggravation and time investment make what should be a routine visit a dreaded ordeal that dominates the day. Appointments are meaningless, taking a number would be more equitable.

Over the years I, like many others, have been treated by a number of physicians. I can honestly say that Dr. Madden is one of THE most intelligent diagnosticians, bar none. She does not usher you through like common cattle (as some doctors tend to do) and she takes the time to speak with you and listen. She is thorough and it is easy to see that she genuinely cares about each and every patient. Yes, sometimes the wait can be extended, but it is because she will not rush you through and wants to address your concerns and ensure that she provides the most accurate and appropriate decisions for your healthcare needs. Her bedside manner is exceptional and it is a breath of fresh air to finally be seen by a doctor who can actually display a sense of humor. Some doctors can make you feel like you're in grave danger for the simplest of things. Not Dr. Madden. She is a gem. Other doctors can take a lesson from her. You can feel comfortable placing your healthcare treatment in this… doctor's hands. You will not find a better doctor. Guaranteed.

Dr. Madden is the most compassionate, kind and brilliant physician around. She deeply cares about her patients and is extremely intelligent in her field of expertise. She knows the body and treatment for everything under the sun and if she can't find the answer to the problem or situation at hand, she knows the right person to seek out the help needed. She is lovely and goes beyond her scope of care. She is personally concerned about your entire being and finds the time to discuss your individual concerns. Her bedside manner is professional, empathetic, and genuine. She is an ALL STAR in my book.
