Dr. Mary Elizabeth Manning

Due to personal issues I did not see a doctor for many years. With the help of someone in my life I found Dr. Manning. I have found her and her staff to be engaging, truly caring, supportive and patient. Dr. Manning treats her patients with respect and honesty. She has a great sense of humor and while she doesn't put up up with excuses, she calls me on my behavior is a kind way. She does NOT give a bunch of crappy platitudes and she can sit with a patient's discomfort , particularly emotional discomfort, without shying away from the issue. Her medical advice is sound and consistent and her timeliness is fabulous. I feel very lucky to have Dr. Manning as my provider. Her staff, especially Tonya and Jean, have been wonderful to deal with at all times. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Manning.

Dr.Manning ,became my doctor back in 1996,at BMC she was my primary until she left BMC in 2007,then i had another doctor she was ok,but didn't give the care that dr.manning did.after having to deal with cancer ,i decided to go were Dr.manning was at in BIN,in 2012 .I have gotten the best care from her,and still do,she takes the time to know her patient,and she is always up front,and gives the best care there is.I recommend her to any one that wants a true caring doctor,that will give u best care there is,out there,but she doesn't play games either.she keeps up with the most medical treatments.there's not many doctors like her.

Dr. Manning has been my doctor for over three years now and has provided excellent health care for my spouse and me. She has a kind but no nonsense communication style that makes her very easy to exchange information with. She makes an obvious effort to keep up with current medical innovations and when referring a patient to a specialist she clearly knows the doctors she is recommending or is up front about not being familiar with their work. Dr. Manning is very aware of quality resources available in the community. She clearly cares about patients and takes the time to listen to them. She does not take a condescending attitude towards her patients, which I find to be increasingly rare. She is in the office 3 days per week (as many of the doctors in this practice are) but checks on the electronic medical records of her patients when she is out of the office and communicates test results and studies on her days off either by phone or through her very competent and helpful medical… assistant. She is concerned with the over-all health of her patients, not just the particular malady they may come in for on a given visit. Dr. Manning has a background in Sports Medicine which has been a plus to me as I began to have knee problems around the same time she became my doctor. She gives accurate, shockingly painless cortisone shots. I cannot recommend Dr. Manning highly enough.
