Dr. Mary-Margaret Lewis, MD

Dr. Lewis received her undergraduate degree from Boston College and medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital where she remained to complete her fellowship training in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. She is Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease, Sleep Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, a diplomat of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. In her previous position at the Washington Hospital Center she won the Nurses' Choice Physician Collaboration Award. Dr. Lewis has a special interest in Sleep Medicine and also has extensive experience in Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Lewis is Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit at Virginia Hospital Center.
