Dr. Mary Carmen Montsko, MD

I have been taking my now 98 year father in law to Dr. Montsko for the past 5 years and the experience has been nothing short of Fantastic !! I've never met a doctor with so much concern and compassion for their patients. Dr. Montsko and her entire staff deserve the absolute highest ratings.

On my second visit, my appointment was at 9am I signed in at 8:45 they call me pretty soon but I waited 1hr 10 minutes in that little room! I asked the doctor and she said the computer guy was working on a problem with computers... so computers are more important than patients? I'm NOT coming back!

This doctor is terrible. I don't think she should be practicing medicine. She stalls on treatment while giving bogus prescriptions that don't help you. Her office manager is nasty, unprofessional horrible at what she does. They should close that office down.

I was referred to Dr. Montsko by a specialist treating one of the several serious conditions that I have. Unfortunately I elected to have a specialist in another area function as my PCP, and something was missed that will now shorten my life-span. I appreciated the Dr.'s patience, her thoughtfulness, and her NOT rattling things off her head but committing to research what may be causing new issues i am experiencing. I have an immune disorder, diabetes, heart failure, and several other conditions for which i take a handful of medicines daily. I relish the thought of a physician "quarterbacking" my care rather than what it has been - and endless series of specialists with no one evaluating my overall health. Dr. was approachable and had a pleasant manner; she put me at ease.

Over an hour and 40 minutes of waiting even after I was supposedly given the doctors very first appointment of the day. I would never go back there. In the past the wait was at least an hour.

I asked fot he first available appt. in the morning I was given 8:30 am. The staff barely acknowledged me when I got there. I waited over 1.5 hours and no one said anything to me or apologized for the long wait after one hour and 40 minutes I finally asked for my co-pay back because I had to get to work, the Dr. saw me and apologized but immediately left and said nothing else. The staff did not apologize or explain the wait, only to ask if I had been a walk in!

I have been a patient with Dr. Montsko for about 4 months now. About a month ago, I visited her office because I fell and my hand appeared that I had either been stung or bitten by something or that something punctured my skin and was still in my hand. I didn't see what happened so I wasnt sure but my belief was that something had punctured me and was still in my hand. She diagnosed it as a bee sting and said that it should clear up in a weeks. I told her I did not usually have this type of reaction to bee stings. She went on to say that the swelling for bee stings can last for months and that it was nothing to worry about. I continued to disagree with her but said I would wait a month and if there was still a problem, I would come back. After weeks of my hand still being swollen, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I opened the wound and sure enough a small, skinny piece of wood popped out of my hand along with loads of puss and infection. I will never recommend this women… to anyone. and she has lost me as a patient. She is inexperienced, she rushes through and doesn't really listen to your concerns.

THIS DOCTOR APPEARS UNEXPERIENCE AND LACKS KNOWLEDGE. SHE APPEARS THAT SHE MIGHT NEED MORE STUDIES IN HER FIELD. SHE DID NOT KNOW NAMES OF MEDICATIONS AND WHAT THEY WHERE FOR. THIS DOCTOR LOOKS UP MEDICATIONS IN A MEDICAL BOOK.
