Dr. Mary Modelle Newman, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Newman for approximately 35 years. None better. I consider myself so fortunate to have her as my primary care doctor. She is thorough and ethical. She has a diagnostic instinct that is amazing — truly a gift. At the same time, she is not afraid to say that she does not know. Another attribute of Dr. Newman is that she is highly respected in the medical profession and very connected to the top people in various specialties. Because of this she has arranged access for my family members and me to top specialists that we would not have gotten easy access on our own. I write this shortly after the Thanksgiving holiday 2019 - she is definitely on my list of things in life to be grateful for.

Negligence! Sluggish and uninterested in patient health. With obvious blood results and family history for 3 years didn't prescribe the necessary tests to diagnose a serious but easily preventable disease. Now it is too late. I am considering a lawsuit that I can easily win. Another doctor raised the alarm after seeing my blood results. Also Newman automatically makes a second appointment just after the annual checkup, regardless if you have any complaints or not, and bills you for it.

I have been Mary's patient for 37 years .She took care of my parents when she was just starting out and my husband who died four years ago. She is a brilliant doctor who really cares about her patients. She listens - really listens - this is quite special and I hate to say - rather rare. She knows her patients well which is why she has so many loyal followers. I always know when I see Mary that I will get the best advice about taking care of myself.
