Summary
Having provided client centered therapy for over 30 years, from emergency work to research and clinical practice, I have learned that no one is immune to life's difficulties, robbing some of peace in their daily existence. These years have taught me the importance of working together on the specific issues while also providing the tools needed to create a healthier life... no matter what our environment deals us.
I believe that although depression and anxiety can sometimes color our lives, ultimately, we have dominion over our existence! Reaching out for help is a road sometimes not taken by the faint of heart, but much less challenging with a seasoned and supportive therapist. Our past has no power over our present. And when bad things happen around us, or obnoxious memories are invading our daily lives, sometimes creating a feeling fear of the future…there are definitely the means to create peace and harmony in our lives. We just need to be conscious of them.
My work is my purpose …and I have found each and every person who has come to me for insight and direction…unique and interesting.
