She wanted to remove life support from my brother and we asked for additional time because he is responsive and holding conversations with the family. I told her that I was not comfortable with removing the life support as long as he was communicating with us. She told me that she could just put him to sleep! I told her that he wasn't a dog that needed to be taken to the vet; this was my brother we were talking about. She tried to corner up each of the siblings separately to try to find a weak link. She tried to tell us that he was not capable of making his own decisions. She also told my sister that if we wanted to take him off the next day that she had someone already scheduled but she was sure she could "work him in"!!! Very inconsistent in telling us things AWFUL EXPERIENCE!

She was the doctor who removed life support for my husband. When she told us that this was our only option, and we told her that we would like to sit down with her as the family had questions, she rolled her eyes and was continually hateful and showed no respect for our feelings. The hospital chaplin even had to ask her to please show us some respect for our feelings. She is the reason that I will never use a Baptist Hospital I have told my PCP that if he thinks I need to be hospitalized, I will not use a Baptist Hospital.

She told my parents I was going to die! And here I am :)
