Dr. Mary E Sherlock, DO

Best office and doctor I have ever had! Dr Sherlock has been my doctor for many years, and I hope for many more. Her staff is top notch, they are caring and go above and beyond for not only myself but anyone who walks into Dr Sherlock's office. While I was in the waiting room an individual walked in completely lost and obviously in the wrong office. Without any hesitation those girls helped and brought this individual to where they needed to be. This is not your typical office.Thank you ladies for making everyone feel welcome.

Absolutely WOULD NOT recommend anyone I care about to the office of Dr. Mary Sherlock. No matter what serious health concerns are brought to her attention she has a very diminishing, condescending attitude, continuously interrupts cutting the patient off like they're just that unimportant & beneath her. She is very disrespectful & feels no awkwardness in sitting there displaying an offensive, snarky smirk on her face. She has never been helpful with me for anything whether it's an obvious severe infection, injury, verified chronic illness or acute medical situation, she just refers out to other providers. Due to her apathy, negligence & laziness an infection continued to spread requiring surgery, causing a large incision & permanent scarring, she couldn't even be bothered to prescribe a necessary antibiotic when she herself said it looked very bad like possibly SARS. A formal complaint with the state medical board & potential legal action should have been pursued long ago against this… medical "professional". Something else about Dr. Sherlock is that she & her staff, in particular Sally who's her assistant & one of the front desk secretary's are NOT genuine, caring people. Yes, sure, they will often portray themselves in a particular way, flash a big smile in front of the patient & whoever may accompany them to appointment but when they THINK a patient isn't aware of what they're doing behind their back they mock them, laugh about them, roll their eyes at one another & make faces like a clique of immature, nasty high school girls, it's disgraceful. This has occured even directly outside the examination room door where their cruelty & true character was clearly heard, it can never be unheard or forgotten. Then Dr. Sherlock has the audacity to enter the room FAKing interest & compassion, at some point in her career she developed a super inflated, unwarranted ego & lost the humanity necessary to be a decent, effective physician. Sally is often very openly disgruntled, complaining about her job, patients & other healthcare employees at Prima Care & elsewhere. It's a very awkward, uncomfortable feeling for any patient to be exposed to her rants, power trip & tyrades. I regret ever giving this Primary care office my patience, time, trust & money, it was completely undeserved. Perhaps it's time for Dr. Mary Sherlock to retire or find another profession.

This Doctor is for you if you don't mind waiting far past your appointment time, after checking in with her rude, ignorant staff. Also, perfect doctor for you if you want to be steered in the direction to four other doctors because that's what she does instead of finding a solution to the problem herself. Honestly public, keep searching!!!!

Took forever to get in because the receptionist screwed up twice. First they put me in for the wrong date so I had to reschedule, then when I got there I had to wait for over an hour because instead of booking for me, they booked with another patient with a similar name. Apparently it takes over an hour to fix the confusion and be seen. The kicker? TWICE...not once, but TWICE she prescribed me medication that interacts with something else I take. She wasn't at all helpful, I don't recommend her.

Dr. Sherlock is a wonderful doctor. I currently drive an hour after moving to keep her for a primary care. Wonderful bedside manner and doctor.
