Dr. Mary Margaret Snow, MD

My dad was in Mclaren Hospital & Dr Snow was assigned to be his attending Physician. She was very rude and condescending to our family and about my dad’s other physicians, that have known my dad for many years! She didn’t know my dad, didn’t care to get to know him, just very arrogant about her tx plan for my dad - which was not in his best interest. This was a sad, stressful time for our family and Dr Snow made it much worse! I’ve never seen another Health professional to behave as rudely as Dr Snow! She needs to be investigated for her tx of patients, belittling/rude behavior to grieving families, and talking badly about fellow Drs (especially when those Drs have treated the patient for many years and know the patient much better than Dr Snow, who meets them for the 1st time in the hospital)!

After reading reviews I thought I was prepared. I've already seen a therapist who says that's not needed. I have arthritis, and need pain management. I have left 3 different appointments crying! I thought at first she's interested in the "whole person" approach. That isn't true because whatever your answer is, she has a very angry reply about why you're wrong. I kept a pain journal. It wasn't written in enough. Next visit it was written too much. I'm to the point now that I'm having an anxiety attack a week before my appointment. I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship that I can't break up from. My family Dr tells me there is no one else that does pain mngmnt after you leave under bad circumstances. I'm trapped! Once you see her you can never leave! Don't make our mistake!!

I would never recommend Dr, Snow for anything, She is very condescending and rude. I went there for the pain in my back. She wanted me to go for mental health, when she learned that I was taking Zoloft. I told her that I had already been to mental health. Then she proceeded to get very rude and obnoxious. I went to her for pain NOT for my mental health. As that was all ready being taken care of. I was her first patient and still had to wait almost 45 minutes just to see her. NEVER again will I go to her. Nor would I ever recommend her to anyone. I had to rate her at the top of the page, I didn't even want to give her one star.

After being treated like crap on my initial visit, I decided to give her a second chance. I was scheduled for 3:30, but they had a cancellation and I was told to be there at 3pm. I sat in an empty waiting room until 4:45!!! I had been doing the 3 hour workouts that she told me to and she renewed my meds for 2 weeks. They called me 2 days later to tell me they were taking me off pain meds and sending me to physical therapy. I went to her for pain management, not to have six pack abs and even more co-pays sucked out of my pocket!!! She told me that everybody should be able to touch their toes, when she herself can't even see hers!!! She is slobbish, rude, and the whole practice is incompetent. She was more worried about who was bringing the macaroni salad to their get together this weekend than seeing her patients!!! I wouldn't even rate her with a one- DO NOT GO TO HER! There is a reason she is accepting new patients- because she keeps getting fired!

I fired this doctor once, but see that I'm going to have to do it again. My last visit she was very rude, screamed and threatened me. After putting all kinds of stipulations on my treatment which I struggled to meet, I arrived to my follow up appointment 15 minutes early and have been in an empty waiting room for over an hour!!!! I'm looking for a new doctor.

I was raised to respect authority, which I do. I couldn't take her anymore so today I fired her. No matter what I said or did, it wasn't good enough. She was degrading me every time I had a visit. So finally I asked her what the problem was between us. She flew out of her chair, slams open the door and said I was non compliant (regarding paper work) and came back in and threw the papers on the exam table. I do not abuse drugs,I always had pills leftover way after the refill date. I have several health issues including 5 back surgeries. Oh and another thing....she passed stinky gas twice and never even excused herself. All of these things in my opinion is very unprofessional! I have friends which work on the extended care for the elderly floor and they said she is the same way with the patients there! Sad!

This is probably the worst doctors appointment I have ever been to. I was berated, shamed and made to feel stupid. But what scares me the most is the one post saying everyone else was wrong. It was word for word what the receptionist told me when I asked her if Dr. snow was always so angry. It is my personal opinion that the post was written by Dr. Snow's staff, or worse, by Dr. Snow herself. Again, that is my personal opinion.

Dr. Snow was very kind, attentive and caring to me. She comes off brunt because she has to be. She is the only doctor around that can and will prescribe pain medications. I have been in her office and heard how irritate others get when she is wanting to do other things to help them, and they are simply saying very loudly the only thing that helps is pills...well as a doctor and all the abuse that goes on regarding them I can see why she has to be so overly cautious. I was told I would hate her, that she was everything all this reviews said. But I treated her with the same respect she gave me. I don't like pills and pretty much refuse them so maybe that is why we get along. All I can say is that even though I refuse them she does allow me to have them if needed after therapy etc. I really like her, and her constant caring with my situations.

Hands down the rudest doctor ive ever encountered. She raises her voice including screaming at me on a regular basis. Because of her lack of bedside manner and general extreme rudeness.. i would never reccomend her as a treating physician! She is a very nasty person. One several occasions i left her office feeling worse then i did before i went in. My wife now refuses to attend any of my appointments because of Dr snows rudeness.
