Dr. Mary Mcdonough South, MD

Dr. South performed surgery on my wife last year. My wife is back to doing things that she hasn't been able to for years. She literally changed her life. Words cannot describe what a great experience we had with her team.

Dr. Mary South is an excellent surgeon. She gave me options that I could try first, before having surgery. Once I decided on the surgery everything went along speedily. I especially appreciated the professional literature I was given, describing the surgery in detail and what to expect afterwards. She and her staff always asked if I had questions, and made sure I was satisfied with the answers. Dr. South did two procedures for me in one operation. The surgery itself went like clockwork, and I knew as soon as I awoke from the anesthesia, that I was already feeling much better.I cannot thank Dr. South enough for her professional manner and expertise. She deserves all the stars one could give! re I was satisfied with the answers.. Everyone was polite and friendly.

Mary South has been so kind and gentle with this almost 80 yr old body, she knows the newest things available to give me complete comfort! I no longer face the constant infections:) Thank you so much Mary!

I would highly recommend Dr. South and the whole office team here. I found Dr. South to be very personable. All interactions were as comfortable as possible, considering the personal issues dealt with in this area of specialty. Response time and information provided before and after surgery were complete and easy to understand .

Dr. South is wonderful! She has helped me with my bladder issues and I'm forever grateful. Her office team, except for one team member, has been nothing but nice and welcoming.

Dr. South is an amazing doctor. Extremely thorough with diagnosis and care. My surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic remarked on being impressed with how thorough Dr. South was with her diagnostic measures. Dr. South has a great bedside manner and her staff is very kind and attentive. Dr. South is also very reachable.... She is very quick to return a phone call. Dr. South also makes sure to update your other involved physicians and what diagnosis and treatments that are going on in her care. I wish all my doctors were like Dr. South. She gets my highest recommendation!!!

I have only seen Dr.South once so far but she was pretty thorough with me and seemed to know what was going on and how to fix it.

A most compassionate, knowledgeable, competent, and any other superlative that can be used for an excellent Dr. I got on within a week of my initial appointment. My surgery was less time than anticipated and went great! I have been actively recruiting new potential patients and recommend her highly. Office staff also needs to be rated 5 stars!
