Dr. Marylyn Virginia Grondin, MD

I recently had a colonoscopy with Dr Grondin at Portsmouth Hospital. The team (of women) was great and it went well, despite my normal nervousness before the procedure. The only thing I would change is the prep procedures. I had a hard time as it was very toxic and too much. I understand there are simpler cleanses out there and I would ask that they look into that. I scheduled with Dr Grondin because I wanted a woman doctor but even though I had never been to her before, the scheduling was easy and her care was very good. Highly recommend her and the Portsmouth team.

Dr. Grondin lacks bedside manner. I was two minutes late for my appointment and she nearly wouldn't been me. (Even though she, herself was running late.)She lacks compassion for nervous clients.When I called her office for more information regarding a surgery that was scheduled with little information besides " ok, we're scheduling you for surgery." Her response was to "Make an office appointment, period!" Turns out, I didn't even need surgery! After seeking a second opinion there were tons of alternative, non-invasive treatments! I've since reported her to the medical board, seek an alternative Dr!

Very happy , and have been treated by Dr. Grondin for 14 years.!!!

Dr. Grondin was caring and informative - and I was very nervous. I had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy with her - the only procedures to date that I had ever been sedated for. I have recommended her to my friends.

Dr. was kind, gentle and informative.

So far I have been more than satisfied with both Dr, Grondin and her staff. My recent visit to her Stratham location for a colonoscopy and endoscopy was quick, efficient and professional.

I do not believe Dr. Grondin is a bad person or even a bad doctor, but she has such a busy office and rude staff that I feel she wasnt able to give my daughter the attention she deserved. Dr. Grondin, in my case, displayed an ineptness that could only be described as pathetic. The way she handled my daughter's case was disappointing and her Nurse Maria was not nice about things.I believe Ms. Grondin has a good heart and wishes the best for her patients. But she failed my daughter.
