Masanori Takeoka, MD

Dr. Masanori Takeoka is a pediatric neurologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School who specializes in epilepsy, clinical neurophysiology, and complex neurologic disorders affecting children. He is affiliated with the hospital’s Epilepsy Center and Sturge-Weber Syndrome Clinic, where he provides comprehensive care for children with seizure disorders and other neurologic conditions. Dr. Takeoka earned his medical degree from Keio University School of Medicine in Tokyo, Japan, and completed residency training at both Keio University and Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by fellowship training at Boston Children’s Hospital. Board certified in neurology, child neurology, and clinical neurophysiology, he is actively involved in clinical research and education focused on pediatric epilepsy, neurophysiology, and improving diagnostic and treatment approaches for children with neurologic disease.
