Dr. Mathew T Thomas, MD

Absolutely the worst and most traumatizing doctor I’ve seen in my 26 years of life. Coming from someone with Cystic Fibrosis from the age of 6 months, I’ve seen A LOT of doctors in my life. I came into the ER so sick 28 weeks pregnant on top of CF and after being in the back less than 10 mins, he came in and told me there’s nothing he can do for me. He told me “there’s nothing wrong with me” and that I just need to go home and sleep it off. I expressed my concern for the symptoms I was having with my pregnancy and cystic fibrosis and this man literally threw his hands up and said “I don’t know what you want me to do. I tested you for strep you’re negative. So at this point I can’t do anything else” and sent me home. I get a call from the NURSE telling me to come back because Dr Mathew Thomas read the WRONG PATIENTS FILE and turns out I actually had STREP AND FLU. Which are both very crucial and serious with Cystic Fibrosis but being 28 weeks pregnant too? I’m so disappointed and… honestly cannot fathom how a doctor like this has been in practice this long.
