Dr. Matthew Price Harrison, MD

Had my procedure on May 11, 2026, the next day I was passing out & was told most likely dehydration, with 1st time receiving this procedure I didn’t know how I should feel after, I googled & people where saying they didn’t feel right for month. By the weekend of May 15th, the pain was so bad that Monday morning I decided to go to the ER due to No follow up from Dr. Harrison’s office. I was admitted into Hospital due to internal bleeding. Turned out while Dr. Harrison was taking out polyps, he pulled causing my spleen to tear away from my colon. After talking with other professionals, I was told Dr. Harrison should have cut large Polyps should be cut out not pulled out. Thank God my spleen reconnected & I still have it. I will be getting another Colonoscopy but will not ever go back to Dr. Harrison. With is bad bedside manner & lack of follow ups with patients that had a lot of questions he said nurses can answer, I was confused why he wouldn’t answer my questions when he did the… procedure. I would recommend finding different Gastroenterologists..

First met Dr. Harrison today before he performed my procedure, very clear with details, seemed rushed and short to answer questions, would use him again if required.

have been utilizing Dr. Harrison's office for the past 8 years for preventive colonoscopy treatments. My experiences have been excellent. I look forward to my colonoscopy exams. His staff are always pleasant during the scheduling of my appointment and after treatment. They always perform a follow-up call to find out how I am feeling and to answer any follow-up questions. I find Dr. Harrison polite and witty with a great sense of humor.

The office staff and scheduler, Amanda was amazing and able to get us in very quickly. On the day of the procedure, again, the staff and Dr. Harrison were wonderful.
