Dr. Jones is a native of Warrenton, VA. He attended Brigham Young University, then chose to spend two years serving a church mission in the Philippines. Upon returning, he transferred to George Mason University in Fairfax, VA where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelorâ€™s degree in biology. After graduating from medical school at Marshall University, Dr. Jones performed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia. As a resident, Dr. Jones received the Allen Menard Leadership Award, the Lynn O. Litton, M.D. Resident Award for Academic Excellence, and the Resident Research Award. It was during his residency that he and his wife, Camarie, began to fall in love with Columbia. Dr. Jones and his family decided to call Columbia home after he completed his Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Jones is a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) and …the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). His also board eligible with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).
Dr. Jones joined Columbia Orthopaedic Group in 2013 and specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. At COG, Dr. Jones works with Mark Litwiller, RN and administrative assistant Kristin McLarren.
In his spare time, Dr. Jones, enjoys playing with his 4 kids, playing basketball, hunting, SCUBA diving, and is a pathological Washington Redskins fan.
