Dr Baker did a great job putting my ankle back together. I am pleased with how well I can walk based on the severity of the break. He was personable and spent adequate time with me on each visit . My only reason for not giving him five stars is a follow up question that I left with his nurse not being answered by him. He did not call me to inquire of the reasons for my request Instead , he had his asst to call and say simply that he wants me to walk. A conversation with me would have enlightened him on my exercise routine and that I walk daily 5-6 times weekly. I was disappointed that he did not discuss my request with me. I have confidence in Dr. Bakers skills but a little more one on one with patients might result in a better patient doctor relationship. I was offended but I would still call him if I had a need for an orthopedic surgeon requiring his expertise. He is outstanding and I’m just an older woman giving a young man some tlc tips. God bless.

We did not know any doctors when we had kids but chose Dr. Baker upon recommendation of a friend. We have not regretted this decision at any time. He is very good, listens, and is always able to work us in for emergency visits. His staff is very warm and friendly. We feel blessed to have him as our kids' doctor.

Dr. Matthew Baker disregards pertinent information and dismisses concerns easily. He has lost my daughter as a patient.

I have been seeing Dr. Baker for some time now. He is EXCELLENT, friendly, nice, caring, trustworthy, and straight to the point. The office staff is nice and friendly.

Dr. Matthew Baker has been one of the best doctors I have ever been around. My son has saw him since birth, and I wouldn't change that for the world. Dr. Baker returns my calls himself and have spoken to him on weekends as well when my son was having some major issues. It is also nice that he works with local hospitals so I know that if anything happens to my son than Dr. Baker will be right there to help. I have also seen his partner, who was just as great, and the staff has always been nothing but nice to my family.

Dr. Baker returns my phone calls personally for updates or questions I may have.

Spotted outside office being very rude to a female who works for another male doc... hmm..... jealous, much??? Big ego.

Friendly, great with children and parents alike. Excellent clinician, practical, evidence-based medicine. Also, helpful with development/parenting questions.

We started taking our son to Dr. Baker six years ago and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about him and his staff. He has the perfect demeanor for kids ie gentle, slow moving, humorous, compassionate, genuine etc. The wait time is normally pretty good but as with all doctor office they can be slow. We have since had another baby and we feel very confident in his care for our children. If you are looking for the best pediatrician in NE GA he is it.
