Dr. Matthew Bessen, MD

I DO NOT recommend this doctor. He is very UNPROFESSIONAL, in my opinion. While visiting his office, he talks very LOUD and I could hear all the medical information concerning the patient that was in the next room. When it was my turn to be seen, he came in YELLING loud and talked about some very SENSITIVE health information that I'm sure others could hear. I was extremely embarrassed while leaving his office. I noticed that the patient next to me, door was open, so I'm sure she heard my medical information too. To add INSULT to injury, I was being seen for my HEART by him. They were supposed to have done a CT SCAN of my heart in a few days. When I contacted him to confirm the CT SCAN date, he said, "You're way too big for the CT SCAN machine, and therefore, I'm not going to order the scan." He NEVER referred me to anyone else, and instead talked about another health issue that was NOT important to me at the time!!! Therefore, I had to request that my doctor refer me to someone… else! He is deeply unprofessional!!!
