Dr. Matthew Charles Blundell, MD

Dr. Blundell has been my physician for many years. He is a very competent, caring doctor or I would not have stayed with him. He goes above & beyond taking good care of me as I age. I have many medical issues that he addresses. When he finds I need a specialist in a field other than Internal Medicine he will request I be referred, i.e. Orthopedic, Neurology, etc. He answers my questions directly & has even called me by phone when he has a report he wants to give me rather than his staff. I am very satisfied with the quality & expertise he shows.

Ignored my references to pain and other symptoms as though I were just complaining.

This doctor and at least one off his nurser practitioners arbitrarily refuse care! They must not like your name, because I didn't meet either one. You are told in the office by some poor embarrassed office worker that you have been denied care, and there is no reason given!

When I first started seeing Dr Blundell he regularly arrived in his office long after the first patient was into the exam room. "He'll be in after he gets here" was a common comment from his nurse. He was also plain nasty to his employees. Now that electronic records are the norm he should retire. He is either reading his computer to you OR talking to his computer! Then always makes a great show of personally taking your blood pressure, which a $20 machine can do. Then you're done. WTH ? Have you ever thought of being a doctor and actually talking to your patients? DR. DEPRESSING! Thanks anyway!

Dr. Blundell spends more time behind his computer than with any physical exam. Conversations are difficult and recommendations old school.

I remember when Dr. Blundell first came to town. He joined a group of 4 other IM doctors and the fate of CCIM was sealed. Soon after Dr. Blundell came to down, Dr. Askew left, then followed a succession of other doctors, some I thought were pretty good, several were pretty bad. The inside scoop on CCIM is this: Dr. Blundell joined the group and the proceeded to get rid of anyone he saw as a threat till now you have a bunch of contract employees delivering at best sub-standard care. First he got rid of Dr. Micheletti, then he got rid of Dr. McCoy till now, Dr. Blundell owns the whole CCIM. And the reason he can get away with it? Because CC is a small town and they are the only doctors group in town. As for the man being a doctor, I saw him twice when my regular doctor was not in. Both times I must say were not comfortable. The first time he listened to me for about 3 minutes and then cut me off in mid-sentence, wrote a Rx and then I was out the door. Didn't even listen to my… heart or examine me. Then I saw him to follow up on a proceedure another doctor did, he told me that the other doctor did not know what he was doing and sent me off to Dr. Polidore, the surgeon. Dr. Polidore looks at the wound and did nothing. Why. Because as Dr. Polidore said, my doctor cleaned the wound out the right way and he wouldn't have done anything different. Waste of my time and money and to top it off, Dr. Blundell bad-mouthed another doctor, one he is supposed to be working with, to a patient. Nice guy. Don't go to this guy.

I asked to have him as my doctor because I have seen him go above and beyond the call of duty several times, and he is still doing it. He is a fantastic doctor!

I transferred to this doctor after visiting several other doctors in our area. we do have a limited number of doctors in our area, but i recommend him over other doctors in the local area. he has been very helpful and worked with me thru several of my physical problems. all are under control at this point. i have had several surgeries and he has been very helpful and informative during all my visits both before and after surgeries.

I have not personally met this doctor but know him through my husband's experiences. Doctor Blundell told my husband to his face that my husband did not have any back pain. For several years now my husband can bearly walk, live normally or sleep due to his non existant pain. How a doctor can have no concern and call himself a doctor is beyond me.
