Dr. Matthew James Brace, MD

He's known me for years, since 2016. He should know me by now. He should know that I'm not a drug addict. He should care for me when I'm in pain. But our latest visit... I never saw him look at me like that. I asked him for pain medicine. He looked at me with fear and disgust and deflected by saying "Pain management doctors prescribe that." That is a lie. No one prescribes pain medicine anymore, not even surgeons. He has let me down. He even punished me by making my antidepressants refill monthly instead of quarterly like usual. Disgusting. I don't want to see him again, but it's a pain to get a new PCP with my horrid insurance. All of my doctors have failed me, including the one that knows me the best. In writing this, I realized that he’s never helped me. He always referred me to places that don’t take my insurance, and when I told him my wrist hurt for a year, he did nothing to help with that, either.

saw the dr. twice in the past 4 months dr. brace quickly knew what tests to order his diagnosis was right on spot , as the testing at virtua proved his hunch . I absolutely recommend dr. brace at virtua Voorhees nj thank you ; Mitchell Rowe

Very unprofessional, disorganized, condescending and consistently unreliable staff. Dr's are completely disinterested in engaging in any investigative work to determine diagnosis other than the normal labs. Takes the office days upon days to call in a prescription refill which is a great cause for concern in itself, this action itself illustrates their lack of concern for their patient's well-being. The physicians clearly only care about the financial aspects of being a physician. This office as a whole needs new management and a training in clinical empathy. The physicians who were employed at Virtua Family Medicine, Voorhees a few years ago and their office staff were far superior to these physicians. The 2 physicians that left- Dr. Perilstein and Dr. Weiner were wonderful and actually fought for their patients, provided excellent patient care, and showed empathy, reliability and professionalism. It's very disappointing they moved on. I am truly saddened and disappointed by the state… of our healthcare today.

Dr Brace is a wonderful doctor. He always on time with apps. Always return my calls when needed. He takes good care of my son Eric. I highly recomens Dr. Brace as a family doctor. He is the best.
