Dr. Matthew Thomas Britt, MD

I truly love this man ... he is just a great spark and wonderful personality, just overall, a great person. However ... I am more than likely looking at a THIRD surgery on my left foot. The first time, for a bunionectomy, he over-shortened my big toe, the 2nd metatarsal was pushed forward. Lump on arch. Pain. Could barely wear a shoe on that foot. SECOND SURGERY from him ... he re-LENGTHENED my big toe by inserting implementation, which makes the circumference on my foot larger ... and cannot wear ANY of the shoes i own because my foot is larger around than it used to be and can feel the metal in my foot with every shoe. Walking is painful. The 2nd metatarsal is bending outwards, with the other toes gradually following. I am afraid to go back. Do not know what to do from here.

Dr. Britt did surgery on my grandfather about 4 years ago. His foot continued to hurt, far after surgery. He just received a second surgery to find GAUZE LEFT IN HIS FOOT. GAUZE. ARE YOU SERIOUS? This man is DANGEROUS. He could have KILLED my grandfather. His body was going SEPTIC due to this man!!!! How on earth do you suture up your patient with GAUZE in their foot. You should be ashamed of yourself!!! Do NOT go to this man. I WILL be going to the medical board. ABSOLUTELY CARELESS AND INSANE. You chose the wrong one Mr. Britt, I’m sure some Miami chop shops will hire you after your license is revoked. Best of luck to you.

I HAVE BEEN TO DR.BRITT ON ABOUT THREE DIFFERENT TIMES AND I SHOULD HAVE DONE RESERCH INTO HIS PAST, HE HAS WORKED AT SEVERAL DIFFERENT LOCATIONS OVER THE LAST 10 YEARS. SO WHY DOES HE HAVE TO KEEP CHANGING LOCATIONS? BECAUSE HE SEVERELY BUTCHERED MY FEET ANOTHER DOCTOR SAID IT SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN DONE THAT WAY. I HAD SEVERAL HAMMERTOES THAT NOW ARE WORSE. AND ANOTHER SURGERY HE HAD TO GO INTO THE SIDE AND IT GOT WORSE AND HE SAID THAT SOMETIMES IT GROWS BACK, THIS OTHER DOCTOR SAYS IT DOESN'T GROW BACK. HE ALSO GAVE ME A $70.00 SHOE INSERT FOR FREE AND SAID TO TRY THIS. WELL TO NO AVAILE. MY MIDDLE TOE IS BENT OVER SO BAD I CAN HARDLY WALK WITHOUT PAIN. MY BIG TOE WHICH HAD 6 STICHES TO TRY TO CLOSE IT UP AND TODAY 2 YEARS LATER IS STILL TWICE THE SIZE IT SHOULD BE. I AM GOING TO HAVE THEM OPERATED ON AGAIN AND HE TOLD ME HE WOULD TRY TO REPAIR THEM BUT THEY STILL WILL BE IN BAD SHAPE. I TRIED TO HAVE HIM SERVED BUT HE REFUSED TO ANSWER MY LAWYERS CITATION. WARNING CHECK… HIS BACK GROUND, THEIR YOUR FEET!

Very caring doctor. Spends as much time as a patient needs and listens/hears what I say.

I ordered orthodics inserts and had to go bad 3 times and they never could get it correct. I had enough and wanted money back and they will not refund.

I had arthritis in my big toes that caused a lot of pain. Dr. Britt did surgery on both feet and I am pain free now. He has an excellent bedside manner and is thorough and timely. I highly recommend Dr. Britt!

Dr.. Britt was unable to perform the surgery correctly and now we have to have the complete surgery done all over again by a true specialist at another practice,. It was a horrible experience to say the least.

I have nothing but good comments about this doctor . He is always so easy going and allows the patient to communicate or ask questions without ferling pressured with limited time. I feel very comfortable being a patient of his . The surgery he performed on my foot went very well . I highly recommend Dr. Britt .

Doctor Matthew is the most wonderful podiatrist ever. I been suffering from ingrown toe ails for many q years ago and the experience of visiting this súper professional doctor ,just change my life forever. He is very professional and makes the procedure without any pain and very good disposition I will always be so grateful to doctor Matthew and remember him with a big smile.
