Dr. Matthew A Butters, MD

In October of this year I was seen by Dr Matthew Butters, MD, at the Mayo Clinic on Shea Blvd in Scottsdale AZ for a knee injury. I was genuinely impressed with Dr Butters’ patient, kind, thorough, understanding and capable demeanor. I left there feeling hopeful about recovery and grateful to have been tended to by a real life “Dr Marcus Welby” of the nineteen seventies TV series. Dr Butters was wonderful and I recommend him! When we left Dr. Butters office, I said to my husband "why can't all doctors be like Dr. Butters?" He obviously familiarizes himself with your case before coming in, He showed me the changes between my previous and current x-rays and listened to my description of my new knee issue - I know he listened as he very carefully moved my leg so as not to cause any unnecessary discomfort. He's a very warm and approachable professional.
