Dr. Clary preformed surgery on both of my eyes for cataracts. I was extremely nervous but he made me feel comfortable and calmed my fears. My left eye surgery was yesterday and I am amazed at the results. My vision has been very poor requiring a very strong prescription. One day post surgery my vision was 20/20 for distance and 20/25 near vision. Also Dr. Clary prayed with me prior to each surgery and gave God the glory for my great results.

Met with Dr Clary off a referral. He does not disappoint. We had a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend him and his team. So thankful he’s in Columbia, SC and close to home for us.

Personable, knowledgeable, cares about the patient

I was shocked to hear I needed Cataract surgery on both eyes. After Dr. Clary explained the procedure and answered all my questions, I felt I was able to trust his abilities. I was assured my eye would not jump around and I would be totally relaxed. What really made me feel I was in good hands was he offered to pray for me before I went into the OR. I was ready to have the other eye done immediately. I will tell everyone, as I have the opportunity, all that I've stated here. I can see with just one eye done, distance & even read without glasses. I'll soon be 75 and no longer wear glasses. Genell Reed

Dr. Clary is an excellent doctor and part of my family. I just recently had cataract surgery with implants and it is awesome that he prays for each patient before their surgery.

I recently moved to SC and went to see Dr. Clary to see about Lasik. I have been told before my eyes are not right for it, but I wanted to see if there was anything new. Dr. Clary told me that I was too near sighted for the laser, but that he could help me another way. He implanted the Visian ICL in both eyes. I had never heard of that before seeing him. Well, I can see fabulous now with no contacts at all! Why didn't my other doctor tell me about this?

Dr. Clary has been our eye doctor for several years now. In my opinion, he is one of the most down to earth, friendly and competent doctors I've met. He recently did my husband's cataract surgery and we couldn't be more pleased. He is a fine doctor - top rate, professional and genuinely cares about his patients. He's so good I only get slightly upset over the wait times for an appointment. I guess if you want the best you gotta get in line and wait your turn.

I would not recommend this doctor. He was recommended to me by a friend who truly believed in him; however, afterwards the friend also started having problems. He did cataract surgery on my right eye and next day I could only see black dots with the eye., He said to give it time. Nothing changed. When I went back I saw two other people in his office. He never came in to see me. I was sent to a retina specialist and told there was nothing that could be done. I called Dr. Clary's office to talk with him. He has not returned my phone call.
