If it was up to him I would not be holding my DAUGHTER in my arms as i type. I began treatments with him at age 38 and after only 3 months he deemed my eggs of poor quality and suggested egg donors. This procedure is well over $30,000 and would increase his success rate statistics. Thank goodness we found Dr.Saketos at Reproductive Specialists of NY where she will never give up on you. Thanks to her we cenceived our baby girl!!

I've waited a long time to write this review because I wanted to be fair. Dr. Cohen is a really nice person with a great mind and excellent credentials. However, I kind of feel like he would be a better researcher than RE. He is the kind of guy you want to do your science homework with but not the kind of guy you want to tell your female problems to. He's just not really warm and fuzzy when it comes to the emotional elements of infertility. That being said, he "knows his stuff," and I would absolutely trust him entirely to do testing, surgery or anything of that nature. His heart is in the right place and he's smart. My real complaints are more about this facility than they are about Dr. Cohen. This facility is great for people who have basic problems to solve - i.e. they aren't ovulating and need an extra boost of medicine to help or they need testing done. It's also great if you have multiple miscarriages and need to get right in for a D&C. Because they are part of the… hospital, they can get you in quickly and you'll have it over and done with. That being said, if you are one of the tougher cases- i.e. someone who has been trying for years and just can't get pregnant or someone who needs innovative treatment because you are older and want to use your own eggs, this is not the place for you. The doctors I met with here don't routinely recommend any experimental things like supplements, human growth hormone, etc. They are very "numbers driven" and operate by the book. They have so many patients that they have to review your file before you have an appointment to remember what they did with you last. Basically you aren't going to get a carefully structured, innovative plan for trying to conceive. You are going to get a routine, by the book plan. Their prices are also absolutely outrageous for IVF. You can do IVF much cheaper at other high quality facilities in the area. One more thing worth saying - the nurses in this office are absolutely fabulous! They deserve enormous praise for their efforts, response time and caring nature. They don't get enough credit for what they do.

Dr. Cohen was extremely professional and comforting. His office and staff are lovely and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cohen to others and I am very picky and do extensive research.

Dr Cohen was very caring and devoted. Extremely knowledgable and explained everything as necessary (multiple times over). Determined to do his part and make things happen!

Dr. Cohen is very quiet doctor. He won't tell me any thing when he see me, I have to go after him to find out my diagnosis. LIJ work like robot, just follow the routine. They don't discuss with me with anything, I always got surprise later on. I won't recommend anyone to see dr. Cohen.

I did 2 cycles with him and even sent my big sister to him. He does his job and you'd never know he was "there" because he's soooo gentle. I had missed both times after about 3 months and I swear I think he was more upset than us and I almost felt like maybe I should console him. He's very sweet and know his job and you won't regret.
