Dr. Matthew James Crouch, MD

My child has been a patient of this doctor for many years. We always had a good relationship with him or so we thought. I called today to make an appointment with him and was told that he did not want to see my child because my child was not a good fit for him. No further explanation no notice or letter......or anything - he just said "Not a good fit and I don't want to see you." I feel very hurt and offended. We always showed up for our appointments on time even though we always had to wait a long time for him and we had insurance and always paid our bills. This doctor over charges and doesn't want to spend 10 minutes with you and just loves prescribing meds to get rid of you. Save your time and money - he's not worth it. Find someone else.

Dr Crouch has a great demeanor with my teenager. He is relatable and unassuming.

I found Dr. Crouch after some extensive research. My son had been having behavioral issues for quite some time. Being a military family, I knew I wanted a military doctor. Crouch came across highly recommended. He works with the military at the Dover AFB and it's very convenient because we live on base. Dr. Crouch has been an amazing person to us and my son has improved so much, without loading him up with psychotropics. I wish he saw families that werent military because I have so many people I would love to refer him too. If you are a military family and needing an amazing neurologist or psychiatrist, please consider Dr. Matthew.

My son’s care under Dr Crouch started out good. He was a patient for several years during HS and into the beginning of college. Things changed, after several years. Dr couldn’t recall prior information he gave my son as well as things that had been conveyed by my son to the Dr. He became very short with both my son and myself during visits. My best guess is he had things going on outside the office affecting his job and stress level. Under our PCP’s supervision we slowly tapered my son off the meds Dr Crouch had prescribed and my son is doing very well off them. That was my sons choice and he feels much more clear headed now. Just wasn’t the right dr for my son.

Dr. Crouch spends time with the patient, asks them questions, answers my (parent) questions, and checks the child's health. Gives consideration to my concerns as a parent and direct observer of my child.

Dr. Crouch has seen my son who has ADHD and autism for many years. He always takes time and seems to genuinely care for my son. He connects with him. We always look forward to our visits with Dr. Crouch.

Dr. Crouch was my daughter's doctor for about 2 years. He was always attentive and very interactive with her. He listened to what was going on with her and never discounted how she felt or what she thought. With his help she graduated HS and has went on to college and is a very happy 20 year old young woman.

Dr Crouch helped bring out the daughter we always knew was hiding inside herself. Because of his guidance she graduated high school and is now in college.

Great guy. Knows a lot about medication for kids. Takes his time and seems like he really cares about my child.
