Dr. Daggett repaired my left rotator cuff on 8-16.-18 and all the horror stories I've heard about this surgery failed to be realized. I am doing great and my biggest issue is holding back and going as slow as they tell me in PT. Before surgery, I had several docs inquire as to who I was seeing. When I told them, they were all familiar with Dr. Daggett and reassured me wholeheartedly that he was very knowledgeable and extremely capable. As a patient, though, what impressed me was his compassion. I never felt like one more shoulder to be fixed, but a whole person. I can't even count the times he told me that he'd take care of me and he did. A little story - years ago, an oral surgeon pulled my last wisdom tooth. I had a real fear of dentistry and I was pregnant at the time. When totally silent tears ran down my face, that man actually yelled at me. I will admit that when he pulled my tooth, I didn't feel a scintilla of pain, but I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy because of his… total lack of compassion. I tell this to show that I know the whole package when I find it and Dr. Daggett is knowledgeable, capable AND compassionate. If that's what you are looking for as well, then look no further!

Dr. Daggett kicked me out of his office when he found out I didnt have insurance. He only cares about the money is the impression I got. What a waste of $50£

Dr. Daggett repaired my broken elbow, he is a brilliant surgeon, compassionat and my experience was as if my grandson was taking care of me with love. My OT therapists was amazed at my recovery. 6 sessions and I was released and resuming normal activities.

This was my first surgery I've ever had in my life due to a soccer injury to my knee. I was angry (at myself & situation), scared and uncertain. Dr. Daggett was kind and respectful to me the day I met him. He spent WAY more time talking with my and my husband than I expected. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He offered ideas and options. He wasn't pushy about if we should or shouldn't have surgery but was factual. He talked about the statistics and case studies of people in similar situations as mine and what happened/happens to them. I went to physical therapy to try and avoid surgery and during the 2-3 weeks, Dr. Daggett and his office was in constant contact with me. He even gave me his CELL if I needed to reach him. I couldn't ask for better bedside manner and follow up from this doctor. My surgery went extremely well. I was helped by extremely friendly nurses and staff at St. Maryâ??s Hospital in Blue Springs, MO. Dr. Daggett came to speak to me again before… the procedure to reassure me and see if I had any other questions etc. The anesthesiologist explained everything and helped me to relax. Dr. Daggett visited me again after the surgery, gave me clear instructions for proceeding, even gave me pictures of the procedure and set up a follow up appointment. The only negatives were administrative errors; I did not receive a pre-op call to tell me not to eat or drink (I knew this on my own otherwise I would have had to cancel the surgery after I arrived. Also, I was not called by the administrative staff to let me know of a LARGE out of pocket expense expected at the time of service. Again, not the doctor's fault by any means and if ANYTHING this could have been due to how extremely quickly he was able to get me scheduled for surgery..... Overall, I could not have asked for a better doctor or experience. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Daggett.
