classic officer type but nice

I like coming to see him. He’s not weird and stands to shake my hand. He has good manners and listens to me when I talk. He shares his thoughts and we try to use as little medicine as possible. I’ve felt better over the last year.

Really good doctor. Dr. Frankel helped my brother with the right medicine (and stopped unnecessary ones) when he needed it the most. He treated my brother with dignity and respect and looks people in the eye rather than at computer screens.

I first met Dr Frankel an hour after admitting myself to the psych unit at the hospital where he was a third year resident. I was terrified and feeling quite hopeless, but after speaking with Dr. Frankel, I knew I had made a good decision to seek inpatient treatment. He was so exceptionally kind and professional, and I was lucky enough to see him on an outpatient basis following my hospital discharge. I was SO sorry when he left the state at the end of his residency, but I was also happy for him that he was able to go 'home' to Florida. Dr. Frankel is an absolutely outstanding physician (and human being!)
