My wife had three back surgeries (lumbar fusions) with Dr. Goldstein. He took the time to explain everything that needed to be done with professionalism and compassion. He was reassuring every step of the way and was always available for all of our pre and post surgery questions. I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a competent, and caring, orthopedic surgeon.

All i can say that this doctor brought back my quality of life, he was a blessing from God. My spine was in pain from 9 to 10 and now i am a 0. I just want to thank you a thousand times Dr. Matthew Goldstein for what you were able to do for me. All i can say Orthopaedic Associates of Manhasset you are very fortunate to have this Doctor on your team.

Dr. Goldstein helped me with my back pain after 5 years of constant pain. He listened and didn't rush me to do anything I wasn't ready for. I highly recommend him.

I've been seeing Dr. Goldstein for a few years now for my spinal stenosis and disc herniations. I wasn't ready for surgery so we made a plan together and tried medications, therapy, injections, and acupuncture. They helped but after a while I was ready to have it taken care of surgically. Dr. Goldstein performed the surgery and I couldn't be happier and more thankful. He took his time to explain the surgery to my family and I so that we knew what to expect. He is very patient, kind and caring. I highly recommend him.

I wish there were 6 stars. Dr. Goldstein is a miracle worker. About a year after a three level fusion that went bad I went to Dr. Goldstein and he immediately saw the issue. He did a new fusion, removing the metal and placing new metal and bone graft. He is an excellent surgeon, but he is also a kind, patient man. I was not an easy person to deal with at that time and he took as much time as necessary to make me feel at ease. Finding a doctor that treats you as a human being is getting harder and harder these days. Do yourself a favor, shop around, get second opinions and ask questions. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask.

Dr. Goldstein took his time to explain all my options with me. He didn’t push me to surgery and told me we can try other noninvasive tactics. He put my mind at ease and was extremely informative.

I cannot really say that Dr. Goldstein is a qualified doctor or not because after two visits, he did absolutely nothing to help me. And after almost 10 years of lower back pain upon walking and standing too long, he suddenly tells me my pain is "temporary" and should go away in 6 months! In addition, his personality leaves a lot to be desired. He gave me the impression that he could care less about his patients. I do not recommend him.

Dr. Goldstein is one of the most wonderful doctors I've ever come into contact with. He operated on my father's back in 2016 and now he is perfect. In 2017, I was in the hospital and in extreme back pain (I couldn't move for 4 days). Doctor Goldstein immediately operated on me and I know longer experience back pain. He is kind, compassionate and explains the process clearly. He is awesome! He is the doctor to see if you need back surgery!

Dr. Goldstein is a fantastic surgeon. I went into his office and I can barely walk in the door. After back surgery at St. Francis hospital I have my life back. I can't thank his team especially Shelly for working so hard. Excellent Dr.
