Dr. Matthew Patrick Gotthold, MD

Dr. Gotthold has been our pediatrician for over 10 years. He is incredibly kind, excellent with kids and very personable. He always gives you his full attention and will take his time with you to discuss any matter at hand. He is extremely intelligent and regarded highly in the medical community as well. He has given us advise on many matters and has helped our families in many ways over the years. I trust him fully and know that he cares for our 5 children as he would his own. My kids love him! He knows how to make them feel at ease and makes them laugh! I always enjoy his sense of humor when we chat also! I truly feel like we have found a gem in Dr. Gotthold!

My triplet boys are 13 and have been patients of Dr. Gotthold since birth. I wouldn’t think of trusting their care to anyone else. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and always takes time to answer questions. He addresses our concerns with kindness and compassion. My boys really like and trust him. Dr. Gotthold and his practice has provided and continues to provide excellent care!

We've seen Dr Matt for 5 years, many times waiting over 30 min to see him. I've never been fond of his office staff, but it has been workable until today. I arrived to my appointment 7 minutes late, waited 5-10 to check in (slow family in front of me and a slow receptionist). 10 min later I was told I would have to reschedule the appointment I was waiting for because I was "more than 15 min late." I was floored. I was late yes, but on the magnitude of 7-9 min. After protesting for 50 more minutes I was finally taken back "as a favor", I had been there for more than an hour by that time. Last I checked I am their client. We like Dr Gotthold a lot, but not enough to disrespect me and my time. He clearly has NO control of his staff. His response was to have his office manager call me "in week or so" - for what, i still have no idea! Not one apology.

Best doctor I've ever been too. Wonderful to kids and a true old school Doctor.

I love Dr. Gotthold. It takes a little of waiting to get in there but he answers all of your questions and you never feel rushed. He's fantastic and I wouldn't take my three children to anyone else.

Receptionist and some of the office staff are rude...will gossip in front of waiting patients INSTEAD OF assisting patients. Hard to get through the phone system and...when you call the office for an appointment, you get the "we're at lunch" voice message from 11:30 to 2:30 most days (quite a lunch break!!). Maybe they just don't want to answer the phone???
