Have had arthritis and knee problems since my 20’s. Went thru synvisc injections and all other therapies we could do until I needed knee replacement. Dr Grunkemeyer did my left knee when I was 59 yrs old in Sept 2021 with fantastic results. Waited until my right knee was unbearable and had right knee replacement with Dr Grunkemeyer in December 2024 at the age of 64. Great results again. Just had my one year follow-up and so very happy with Dr Grunkemeyer and his team. He truly cares about your situation and your outcome. I have wonderful flexing and extension of both legs. I can do everything I want to do, with no pain or soreness. Knee replacement is the worst surgery I have had from a recovery standpoint. However, with the skill of Dr Grunkemeyer and doing my part with rehab and exercise, it has all been worth it. Dr Grunkemeyer has been treating me for years and so very happy with my results and his attention to my needs.

The doctor was very rude and made me feel bad about my weight and I have no control over that because of my thyroid and no I'm not blaming it all on my thyroid but it does have a factor.....

Through two years of testing, medication and eventual hip replacement Dr Grunkemeyer and his entire staff were excellent in all respects.

Dr. Grunkemeyer was very patient with me and listened to what I would say. He’s Pleasant when he walks into the room. I have received excellent care from him. He doesn’t push you to make decisions about your care. He gives you time to think about it. He explains your treatment very well .

Dr. Grunkemeyer was recommended to me for my first hip replacement a little more than a year ago by another doctor I was also told that he is so good that I might not get in right away. Luckily for me I not only was able to get an appointment right away the first time but also this week. He is personable, professional and sincere. I hate to say that I look forward to an operation, but knowing that Dr Grunkemeyer will be performing it and what the results were last time, I am looking forward to the second. ( and different hip) hip replacement

Dr Grunkemeyer is caring and takes time to listen and discuss any concerns that you have. I'm very pleased with my Orthopedic Dr. He is very knowledgeable and I trust his decision on my care.
