Dr. Matthew Jason Hawkins, MD

On time appointment. This was my first time with Dr Hawkins for knee pain. I did think he was very good at explaining my diagnosis and helping prescribe medication for pain.

I had meniscectmy on my right knee performed by Dr. Hawkins in 2025 and I did not even require a Tylenol during me very quick and full recovery. Now my left knee might be getting there and Dr. Hawkins immediately brought me in for an exam and has prescribed a treatment regiment. I am 100% satisfied with Dr. Hawkins on his responsiveness, attentiveness and performance. The staff at Bone & Joint Institute are highly responsive and professional.

Is so nice when a doctor listens to you and. They respond to your needs. My first time going there. I recommend him . It was a pleasure meeting this good doctor

Saw Dr Hawkins yesterday for a shoulder injury. He was very compassionate and caring. Explained my injury to me and the procedure he performed. Would recommend.

Dr. Hawkins is very thorough and takes his time explaining my daughters MRI results. He gives suggestions for what to do and explains so that my teenager understands.

I very rarely take the time to write a review - but Dr. Hawkins did such an outstanding job for my Mother and I wanted to show our appreciation! My elderly Mother fractured her femur and the injury required a very complex internal fixation surgery. Dr. Hawkins was called in because of his expertise with this type of surgery and he did an outstanding job. She is doing very well (1year later) - she can walk, bear weight on leg and has minimal (if any) residual pain. I highly recommend him - he is extremely conscientous and really cares about doing the best job possible for his patients!
