Dr. Matthew Aaron Hazzard, MD

I am an orthopedic surgeon, and used to Dr. Hazzard for my personal surgery. I had a quick onset of very severe nerve pain with a large disc herniation that was intolerable and starting to cause weakness in my arm. Dr. Hazard recognized the problem quickly, and because I had already tried some conservative measures and this was worsening rapidly, he got me on the surgery schedule quickly to reduce risk of further damage. I woke up from surgery and the severe nerve pain was gone in my arm, weakness is improving. I highly recommend Dr. Hazzard. He’s very well trained, has a great reputation among operating room staff and nurses, as well as other surgeons, and has a fantastic bedside manner. I hope not to have to use him again , but Would absolutely use him again if needed. I’ve referred many patients to him with similar outcomes and experiences.

Best experience I have ever had. He did my back surgery, microdiscectomy. I was never in any pain, I was put on the schedule right away, his staff was superior, and the new hospital in Braselton was excellent. I only wish I had found Dr. Hazzard months before. I am recommending him to anyone who is suffering with neck or back pain. He was wonderful.
