I rate Dr. Hepinstall an outstanding surgeon. He is super competent, and one is in superb hands. I felt immediately at ease. So grateful to have a surgeon of this quality benefiting us. Dr Hepinstall is an excellent surgeon. I had knee replacement 4 weeks ago and today I am walking pain free. I would recommend Dr. Hepinstall to friends and family.

Dr H listened and explained thoroughly through X-rays and charts both my mobility and need for hip replacement which was a total shocker as I thought I had ankle and knee pains

My visit to Dr. Hepinstall was nothing short of AWFUL. He cracked jokes about my audibly OUTSIDE the exam room before he came in, I could hear him through the wall. I wish I had fled before I got the full dismissive, patronizing treatment. Every patient should be treated like a human being, not just the hip replacements. Smarmy.

I was in a state of denial about my hip disability, but when I lost the capacity to walk, sit or stand without excruciating pain, I decided to proceed with replacement. The procedure was a complete success. I walked on the day of the operation and was back in the gym in 3 weeks. As an older person (73), I didn't think it was possible to get back to full function in daily activities, but I was wrong! Dr. Hepinstall is an extraordinary surgeon. I have my life back!

I am thrilled with the outcome of my partial knee replacement. I was apprehensive and fearful about having surgery. Dr Hepinstall and the entire staff at his office and Lenox Hill Hosp were extremely supportive. Dr Hepinstall was compassionate and answered all my questions and more. I have worked as an nurse in Healthcare for over 30 years and highly recommend Dr Hepinstall. He is outstanding!

Arrived to LHH. ER with displaced fracture of L femur late afternoon Met Dr Hepinatall then. Admitted and operated ( complete hip replacement) next day. Walled in hospital within 24 hrs and left hospital with home PT for recovery. Able to go back to partial activity within 3 weeks. Very good pain management post op. Tolerable to minimal pain for 2 weeks Discharge from hospital very well organized with all referrals arranged

I have had both knees replaced by Dr. Hepinstall and am still a patient since my May 20, 2019 surgery. Both Dr. H and his staff have been caring and professional at all times. I have recommended Dr. H to some people in need of knee or hip surgery.
