Wouldn't even LOOK my mother in the face or listen to her, and for THREE YEARS in a row did not change even a comma in her post-stroke cardiac "plan," which should be updated each visit! He is incompetent and should be investigated by the board.

Went to have a check up for blacking out when I stand up to the point that I was falling on the floor. Didn't know since I have had past heart bypass if there was something else going on. Dr. Hook was absolutely the rudest most arrogant Dr. ever. No bedside manner. Like someone else said, I wouldn't send my dog to him. He fussed me out for 10 mtes and staff for scheduling me an appt.

He is honest and doesn't sugar coat things. He truly cares about his patients.

Before I saw Dr Hook I had daily chest pain and shortness of breath. He has helped me feel incredibly better after fixing my heart and he is always caring and listens to me. Nice office staff. I agrees with the nurses, he is the best.

As a senior cardiac nurse in Raleigh i have worked with many groups and cardiologists, this guy is the best and he treats patients like family. No one but Dr Hook would treat my family and I know all of them, period! He cares and is committed to doing the right thing
