I am mind blown how this DPM has received so many positive reviews. I have not experienced this poor of a provider in a long time. He spent maybe 2 minutes with me, if that much, to review my MRI with me. That was after 8 days of me trying to contact him through the patient portal to no avail because I knew the MRI was abnormal. I tried asking questions, was only able to get one out that he answered as he was literally half way out the door, so much for patient confidentiality! When I got home my husband asked what he said about some other questions I had and I said “sure would be nice to know, but he doesn’t have time for the patients today, and I sure as heck can’t ask him questions through the portal because he doesn’t return messages!” I will NOT be returning to his office for follow up care. I should have known better, it’s a TPMG run group, so I’ve seen this type of behavior with multiple other types of providers through their system in other specialties. Shame on all of them.

I have been waiting for a call back from the nurse for over 3 weeks to schedule for the orthotics the Doctor said will help with my foot pain. I had a fracture and arthritis and he has been seeing me for more than 3 months now. This shows a total disregard for their patients. Not only they show no interest in alleviating my condition but waiting till next year will mean new deductibles.

Dr. Hopson provided medical service for my foot which developed bone projection and I had hammer toe on the same foot. Great medical experience and now it is healed and I am wearing shoe inserts. Surgery was not needed.

I brought my 11 year old daughter to Dr. Hopson for an ingrown toenail procedure. He did not even wait until she was numb before he started cutting her toe. She felt EVERYTHING!!! Then he cut away 4 millimeters from the left side of her toenail, leaving her toe disfigured for life. I have had to bring my daughter to another doctor for the past month, just to ,mitigate the damage this cold, cruel man did! I say, don't bring your children, but I really mean DON'T BRING ANYONE !!! He should not be practicing medicine at all!!!!!

Had surgery to correct a flat foot with accompanied ankle pain and today Dr. Hopson put me in a weight bearing boot. So far so good. The plan is right on schedule.

I had a total ankle replacement performed by Dr. Vargo. After months of treatment for "supposed infection", it was discovered by another surgeon that Dr. Vargo had cut the artery and damaged the tendons etc. resulting in constant tripping, falling and tremendous pain. I was determined to find a Dr. who could repair the damage and went to see most of the surgeons in Hampton rds. including Duke University and HSS in NYC. They all wanted to re-fuse my ankle because the damage done by Dr. Vargo was too extensive (I have all the documentation to prove this). Dr. Hopson was the ONLY one that offered me hope. He took on my difficult case and repaired all the damage. I am now walking, biking, dancing, and finally enjoying my life free of pain!! I also lost over 100lbs.. He is simply the absolute best in his profession and I as one of his most challenging patients am the proof that there is No One Better!

Had foot surgery but Dr Hopson failed to not only properly diagnose but hindered my real diagnosis. Will be seeing an attorney now. Did not explain procedure properly, which explains a lot in hindsight. Kept everything vague. Very disappointed this is the kind of doctors being churned out of Med Schools
