Matthew Christian Metzger, MD

Matthew Metzger, MD, is a pediatrician who notably finds the management of asthma, allergies, eczema, ADHD, and constipation rewarding because of their large impact on the quality of life.
A Florida native, Dr. Metzger earned his medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine, followed by his residency training at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
“I focus on transparency when educating my patients and their caregivers because I believe in shared decision making,” shares Dr. Metzger. “I do my best to explain care recommendations and why am confident in them. I want patients and caregivers to leave my office empowered with their current care plan and a bit more understanding of their own health.”
Away from work, Dr. Metzger enjoys spending time with his wife Anya, their daughter Sophia, and their lab mix, Niels. He is a music enthusiast, especially synth pop, punk, indie and folk. Dr. Metzger is also an avid hiker, and enjoys traveling, cooking, board games, …audiobooks and video games.
