Dr. Matthew Ng, MD

He was good but became less interested in helping me over time.He let's his staff laugh and mock his patients and does nothing to stop it.

For two reasons I write this negative review: 1. His office has lost my medical history information and it seems quite normal to the staff, I was asked to fill their form again and no one had any answers for me why my personal information is lost. So, if you care about your privacy, this is not the right doctor for you. 2. I made an appointment for 8:30 for today Jan 15th two months ago, they moved it to 9:30 without any advance notice to me. Then I waited another hour to be told they have lost my medical history. So, if you care about your time and timeliness, this is not the right doctor for you.

I was referred to Dr. Ng by another ENT to review and discuss my recent MRI for my hearing issue. It took awhile to book my appt. but once I did, I got a nice voicemail last week from Rena to confirm my appt. When I got there this morning, Emily at the desk could not have been any nicer! It took awhile for me to fill out all the forms but no sooner I finished and was called in, so I didn't have a very long wait which was great since I had to get to work afterwards! Dr. Ng was super nice and answered all of my questions and concerns. He was very attentive and thorough and I didn't feel rushed. I am happy for the all around comfortable experience!

Trying to get an appointment, dealing with a PLETHORA of incompetence.

I have been reading the reviews in regards to Dr Ng and his staff. I was referred to him and had my appointment yesterday and I have to say, I had one of the best experiences in a doctors office. The receptionist, Marianna was absolutely awesome setting me up for everything and couldn't have been kinder! And Dr Ng was absolutely wonderful! Took time answering my questions and so comfortable to talk with. It was a little difficult getting in but just chalked tha up to his expertise and he must be good. Not sure about all these bad reviews but my experience was flawless! Many thanks!!

Worst experience ever â?? didnâ??t even see the doc. Upon discharge, the ER spoke to this doc's office about seeing me within 3 days. I called as instructed & was initially told that the doctor doesn't handle the kind of issue I have, which makes no sense. Long story short, a few phone calls from ONLY me later, some literal lies stated by the receptionist, I'm told I can't get an appt for 28 days. I'll take this as a blessing because now I'll never step foot in this doc's office.

Wonderful Doctor! He was able to diagnose a hearing problem for my mother than another ENT Doctor could not. I will say that I did not have much dealing with the staff as an audiologist set up the first appointment. This was the audiologist so "Doctor of choice" and one of the best in the city - her words. He is a teaching Doctor and always had a couple of residents with him. But, that did not cause a problem with the diagnosis. They were always super polite and caring, as was Dr Ng. As for the staff, is there a doctor in this town that has a decent staff? If so, let all of us know so we can book appointments there!

Was told at my 1st appointment that he was going to set up a cat scan. Four appointments later I finally got one and his staff is just horrific! These ladies not only did they not book me that day apparently their excuse was "my paper work was misplaced" but when I went to do my cat scan, that department never received anything from the staff nor the Dr I was coming. Never ever again!

Referred to him by another dr for possible surgery for a tumor. Was told we could just watch it and see how fast it grows. This tumor was already causing damage to my neck & hearing, Waiting to see how much more it could do was not a happy thought. He told his office staff to set an appointment for an MRI and order lab work. I waited 2 weeks and they never set the MRI appointment. Lab work was done and I never heard results. Over 3 months passed and they called to tell me they had scheduled the MRI. I had already completed Cyber Knife treatments by this time. His office staff was rude every time I called. Even when they called me 3 months late to tell me they had finally made an appointment! When I said my treatment was complete the girl was rude asking me, "What do you mean you already had treatment and by whom?" I would never go back there for anything.

waited 1 hour and 15 min. before called back..then another 30 min in the exam room before he came in...besides the poor waiting time, the Dr was very nice.
