Dr. Matthew Christian Peterson, MD

I broke my foot pretty bad and needed surgery. Doctor Peterson took excellent care of me and took any concerns that I had seriously. This was my first ever surgery and I was so nervous, but I knew I was in good hands. Yes, his visits are short, but that’s not unusual. There are a lot of patients that need to be seen and unfortunately, it’s the nature of the beast right now. I was confident that he was providing excellent care and made the best use of the time we did have. I never felt that my appointments were rushed or that he wasn’t providing the necessary care. By utilizing MyChart, I could ask any questions that came up after my visits and I got a quick response, not only on the app, but via phone as well. I was impressed with Dr. Peterson’s thoroughness and I’m actually switching to his clinic for my primary care because I felt more comfortable there than my previous clinic.

Great service and caring doctor. Helped my foot pain in a few visits. To the person giving poor review about not being seen - let's remember doctors have 30 plus patients to see and, therefore, need to be on a tight schedule. I appreciate that Dr Peterson is always on time. I try to come in 10 minutes before appointment time as is often asked by the receptionist making the appointment. What may seem like only 5 minutes to you is a lot longer to a provider!!!

Dr. Peterson has a strict 15 minute appointment rule and is very unaccommodating. There seems to be little "care" in his healthcare. I was told my appointment was a 930am arrival time after double checking earlier that morning. After parking and walking slowly due to my "boot" I arrived in the clinic at 935. I had to wait in line for 5 minutes to be checked in only to be told that I would have to reschedule because there was only 5 minutes left of my appointment. I have never experienced something like this before. I prefer to see a doctor that will take the time to figure out what I need and options for care. Dr. Peterson is not that doctor. Go elsewhere.
