Dr. Matthew Robert Porter, MD

I really liked Dr. Porter, he was a good listener and was respectful of my concerns. I wish the office could come up with. A more efficient way if dealing with insurance issues- I recently had a bad eye infection and between his office and others I've literally spent more time focusing on insurance issues than my health. I realize this isn't entirely the offices fault but after making a phone call don't be insurance this week and obtaining the info requested by Dr. Porter office, his nurse was STILL asking me this morning if I had had my PCP changed with my HMO insurance. The receptionist informed me it was because the nurse had info to the notes stating that Dr. Porter was NOT listed as my PCP with my HMO; but that the nurse did NOT have access to the notes stating that it this had been updated/corrected- which makes ZERO sense-- you have a system that gives your nurse access to last week's problem but not to the problems update/correction? It just seems like their is poor… communication in the office, and the receptionist spoke down to me like she was a sharp young health care worker and i was an old, irritable, irrational crank when i told her I it seemed like communication could be improved.

Has wonderful bedside manners. Makes you feel like you’re on the same team. Doesn’t do all those put downs like some doctors do.

Good luck getting someone to answer the phone. Inexcusable.

He is a fantastic dr.

This doctor is the most uncaring doctor that I have ever been to in my entire life. If you are suffering from anything this doctor will not help you. the most reluctant doctor ever!!! will not respond to any requests!!! if you are in pain , you would be better off going to another doctor!!!
