Unprofessional at his core. Avoid him before it is too late for your loved one. He is rude and jumps to incorrect conclusions. He gives urologists and other surgeons a bad reputation. He is unwilling to share his thought process for complex care even to other physicians. Go somewhere else.

Dr. Shuford did a perfect job in ridding me of that monster tumor. After a failed surgery in Arlington, Texas and being moved to Baylor-Fort Worth, I decided to contact Baylor for a referral. Dr. Shuford heard my story and wanted to be my surgeon for second try. It was the absolute best decision I ever made. Dr. Schuford explained everything to me up to the surgery, the surgery and afterwards. I find Dr. Schuford and his staff to be kind, courteous and caring.

I went to go visit Dr. Shuford because my primary care physician thought I had a kidney stone. He was very caring and sat down with me and really talked to me about my problem. He was realistic and didn't ask me to have a bunch of tests that I didn't need. I will definitely go back if I ever have to.

Dr. Shuford is an outstanding surgeon who I chose to perform by robotic prostatectomy. He has a very caring nature and he makes you feel like you are his most important patient. He always takes the time to answer my questions. He displays an unassuming personality which really make you comfortable as a patient.
