Dr. Matthew James Stottle, MD

Dr Stottler and his P.A. Kristina are fantastic, all employees there are professional, caring and compassionate,they have tremendously helped me with my pain issues, they are top notch and I won't see any other pain clinics as long as Omaha Pain is open

Physician and scheduling was easy. Our insurance was accidentally cancelled by employer but reinstated the same day. Billing would not work with us and Karen was rude and difficult. I've never been treated so disrespectfully, even though we had told them it was an error and being fixed. So, we paid cash and they refused to bill to our insurance once fixed and use cash as a credit to the account. Terrible experience! Don't recommend. If you can't be kind and compassionate in a situation like this, how do I expect you to care about my pain! Clearly, they are all about the money!!!

I was seen as a new patient recently and the PA’s and Dr Stottle were very sweet and educated. We discussed multiple options for injections, medications and my safety is top priority to them which I am thankful for. The staff appeared to be very friendly and very attentive to any question I asked. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Dr. Stottle is not the most compassionate doctor, but I will say if you need basic care he would be an okay choice. If you would like a physician to work with you and not hold your chronic pain against you, then you might want to keep looking. I have been a patient of Dr. Stottle's for a few years and the few times I needed some better guidance or understanding he was not available nor was his office willing to work with me. It is unfortunate.

I've been seeing dr. Stottle now for almost two years. Not once have I walked through his door and felt as though I was crazy. My issues started with my hip or so we thought. I went to a hip specialist and they told me that was not my problem. He sent me to a back Doctor who said that wasn't my problem. Went back to the hip doctor and he did the MRI where I was diagnosed with several issues including herniation. I ended up going to a back surgeon in Omaha who told me my only option at that point was surgery. Dr. Stottle on And his team has definitely improved my life. I can't say I'm completely pain-free yet, but we're definitely headed the right direction. He listens and tries to ensure that I am comfortable and does his best to make any type of procedure as painless as possible. I would recommend him to anybody!

Appointment was at 10:15 waited until 11:30 . Dr. Stottle ordered med my insurance would not pay for not even emergency 3 day supply. I callef his office as well as pharmacy & he refused to change med . Having been on hydrocodone for 3 years I'm out without any help at this time.

I have seen Dr Stottle several times and have had several procedures. I have chronic pain from three car accidents and have neck and head injuries from five concussions due to falls. My pain is controlled by medications and injections. I have kidney disease so I am not able to take any NSAIDS or steroids so it is really hard to control my pain but he manages to do it. He is the best pain management doctor I have seen and I have been to several.

I have had treatments for several maladies from Dr. Stottle and I like him a lot. He does great work. However, the staff can't seem to get consults correct. I am referred by the V.A. and, for almost every appointment, the staff tells me that I don't have the proper authorization and that I must call the V.A. and get it corrected. THAT'S NOT MY JOB! The V.A. gets aggrivated when I call, since they believe they have forwarded the proper authoriztion. If Cr. Stottle's staff would call the V.A., it could all be worked out with a minimum of confusion. I'm goin to start looking for another clinic for my pain management.

I didn't feel like the doctor really listened to me and treated my pain accordingly.

Really enjoyed my experience. I'm not a 100% but I am feeling a lot better and back to doing what I love, biking :)
