Dr. Matthew James Suggs, DO

I want to say without a doubt Dr Suggs is by far the reason I still have my right leg and my life today! I have never encountered a more finely tuned Dr in my entire 46 years. He takes his work and his patient very serious. Not one day of my nearly month long stay at USA did I wonder if he would be by my room. I was actually sad when he had a day off. He is very thorough to the extent you never worried about forgetting to let him know anything because he not only spoke on what you wished to remember but recognized things you would never think to be a possible issue. He's a gifted man, very patient, understanding, compassionate, and caring. He truly goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable with even the unknown until gets his confirmation to give what he was always right about it's printout of legitimacy. He never changes up he is always the same. You could never tell if he had any issues going on himself because he remains focused at all times. I never felt like a… folder he opened just before he entered my room. After 2 previous hospitals that couldn't figure out what was wrong I was transferred (thank God) to USA and Dr Suggs who was qualified to get right to work with his knowledge fixing me. My hip and leg had somehow gotten abcesses it it with bacteria that was sucking the life from me. Every call he made was the right call and teamed with my orthopedist Dr Brewer saved my leg and my life. By the time Dr Suggs received me from Providence Hospital I was delirious. After 2 surgeries, numerous blood transfusions, and more antibiotics than I ever known in existence, I'm at home on my way to a full recovery and enjoying life again. I thank God above for sending him my way when he did because I was out of time and he got right to work reversing that. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr Suggs. You are truly remarkable and definitely doing what you are meant to do and truly gifted at without hesitation or thought. You make it look so easy.
