I was disappointed in his lack of compassion and poor communication skills. He did not consider diet or exercises to be significant in my treatment. He also did not prescribe a scan of my bladder and kidney. I finally switched to another urologist, who quickly discovered a large mass in my kidney which proved to be a carcinoma. The kidney was surgically removed. If I had not switched, I hate to think about where I might be today.

The worst ,most ignorant and arrogant Doctor that we have had to be subjected to in my life.Went with my husband who has gone to Tobin for the past few years, every six months for me to clarify a mentioned possibility of surgery, No answers. He began to tell me that I was all over the place with simple questions.Wrong I wanted to understand his concerns that my husband wasn't sure of.We waited 1hr. and 15 minutes after sceduled appt. time with no explanation and then didn't want any questions.Sfter his insulting manner didn't stop, I said I had enough and left the office. My husband will not go back !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ever ! Run, and get a new respectful, intelligent and informed urologist, you will be thankful you did.

I have seen Dr. Tobin 6 or 7 times. He seems good at what he does, although he is not the friendliest doctor, but I suppose that doesn't matter. He is a VERY strong proponent of radiation for prostate cancer, so much so, I wonder if he has a financial interest in the radiation center. But it's the wait times that are off the chart. I always waited 2 to 2 1/2 hours to see him for 10 minutes. I have had an 8 AM and a 9:30 PM appointment, and waited over 2 hours each time. It is so infuriating, I will never go back. There is no excuse for making patients wait more than 2 hours.

My husband was in the hospital and I called the office looking for the results of a kidney ultrasound. Was told I couldn’t have them until seeing him in the office. Two weeks after test notes still not transcribed. That’s what I was told. Over three weeks later at the office visit the kidney ultrasound was not normal and a procedure needed. This is a pattern with this Dr Frankenstein. He is unprofessional.

Can not get any test results in a timely fashion. Very poor rating for this doctor and this office and staff. Ultrasound over two weeks ago - when I called for results was told I couldn’t have them although patient is now in hospital with a serious condition. The results were not even transcribed two weeks later. Dangerous situation. You don’t get results unless you come into the office even if you are hospitalized and it would help in the diagnosis and treatment. Will not see this man anymore.

Rude,, after waiting almost 2 hrs i went in complaing about the time and dr came out screaming( not exaggerating)

Terrible office. Waiting 2 hours and not taken yet. Great dr but they don't care about your wait or time

I found the staff professional and curteous. I had to wait but then most offices you usually do. Dr. Tobin was professional in assessing my renal issues and formulated a plan to follow up.

Find another doctor...every time I had an appointment I was hoping the treatment and care by the doctor and staff would improve....the place is a joke!!! Find another doctor!!! The treatment from the secretaries and practitioners is horrific!!!

Waited over two hours from my appointment time! And no one checks up or tells you anything. My time is as valuable as his and every other person waiting.
