Dr. Matthew K Wedemeyer, MD

I have been with Dr. Wedemeyer for sometime now. I was started on pain meds for long term use. we began reducing the dosage. I had to start the meds as a result of a bad surgery. He has gradually taken me down over time. He also worked very well with my doctors at UCSF and Stanford. So far everything he has done has worked and has been very helpful.

I had wedemeyer for work comp for a back injury I had tried everything next to surgery so I was on pain med treatment we agreed to a certain amount per month I come back to next appointment and he said we are stopping the pain meds saying that we discussed it last time it was news to me so I got I bit upset with him because without meds I'm bed ridden so I told him I'll seek another doctor.when I received my report from my attorney he had said that I had unusual behavior so on and so on.I never had a doctor lie like he did I was shocked to read it so if you are on pain meds and plan on continuing taken them do not go to him .worst doctor I have ever had. I would give zero stars if I could

Dr. Wedemeyer is caring, professional, and extremely thorough. He takes the time to make sure all questions are answered and he works to develop a relationship with his patients. He is great with follow up and ensures patients understand their treatment plan. I'd recommend Dr. Wedemeyer to anyone.

Dr. Wedemeyer is a great doctor. He is concerned with helping you. He takes the time you need to answer all your concerns before ending your appointment.If I still lived in California he would still be my doctor. He has done everything he could to help me with my cronic pain.
