Dr. Matthew Parker Willis, MD

I received surgery from Dr Willis in April 2021 to repair a torn labrum. Following my surgery, I felt major instability which was concerning at the time. He assured me it was normal and to go through the rehab process. After 16 weeks of rehab and recovery, I was told I could return to minimal activities. At this time, I knew something was not right. Fast forward a few months where I was pushing myself up a small ledge and completely tore my shoulder in half. I was rushed to the hospital and later given an MRI which showed serious damage requiring another surgery. When I asked Dr Willis how this could happen, he told me my shoulder was likely to tear again and now I needed a new invasive surgery that was sure to fix me up. Needless to say, I did not do my surgery with him because of the poor job done by him and then the TOA rehab staff. This has cost me an incredible amount of money and has been mentally difficult to deal with these injuries. I encourage others to do your research… before using Dr Willis. I am willing to confirm all of this information

If you need surgery this is the man to see, my first shoulder replacement operation was botched. I had limited movement, pain, within a month of his surgery I was almost back to normal. great range of motion, no pain. I cannot say enough about him.

Dr. Willis is an excellent Surgeon and has a wonderful Staff. He quickly identified my injury, explained everything, answered my questions and worked with me to find the best solution for me. He did a wonderful job on my shoulder surgery. Austin, his assistant is amazing as well, extremely caring, knowledgeable thorough and caring throughout the recovery period. I was re-injured very shortly after my surgery and Dr. Willis and team was amazing helping through the prolonged recovery. They will continue to do all they can until you are well. I highly recommend Dr. Willis and his team

Thorough, patient, knowledgeable

I was referred to Dr. Willis by my previous surgeon to Dr. Willis. I was very impressed with him and his knowledge. I'm having surgery on Oct. 16th and hope that my shoulder will finally be repaired the right way.

Comes across very friendly and seems to want to work with you and not be pushy

I broke my right arm three years ago and Dr Willis performed surgery and he was the kindest most friendly doctor. His whole staff were great. I had a very severe break and had to have 31 sessions of physical therapy and I could not have had a better therapist. She too was awesome and very caring and gentle. I would highly recommend Dr Willis to anyone with arm and/or shoulder problems. He is very caring!

Dr Willis is the best. I had a total shoulder replacement with minmal pain.
